The options available to patients requiring blood tests are as follows:
Standish Medical Practice – WN6 0HD Tuesday & Friday (am only) appointment is needed please ring 01942 773151 – Suspended at present
Shevington Clinic – WN6 8EW – Wednesday & Friday (am only) appointment is needed please ring 01942 773151
Thomas Linacre Centre – WN1 1RU Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm (be aware you may experience a long wait and car parking maybe an issue)
Wrightington Hospital – WN6 9EP Monday to Friday (am only) appointment is needed please ring 01942 773151

Test results
Please ensure we have your up-to-date contact details so that we can contact you regarding any urgent test results.
Please leave 2-3 days after having blood / urine /microbiology test performed before ringing reception about the results. Receptionists often give normal results over the phone. If there are any abnormalities it is advisable to speak with one of the GPs or Practice Nurses instead.
X-ray and Ultrasound results usually take about two weeks to arrive at the surgery so please keep this in mind and leave a reasonable interval before calling or making an appointment with your doctor.
Phone calls regarding such enquiries should be made after 11.00 am Monday – Friday.
